Abstract
Factors affecting the functionalism of employee behavior directly determine the quality, quantity, and effectiveness of employee performance in organizations. The Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, has placed special emphasis on the issue of functionalism of employee behavior in various topics in his statements and writings. By paying attention to and addressing these factors and considering them in employing and attracting employees, organizations perform better in achieving organizational goals and achieving the sublime goals of the Islamic system. The research method is qualitative analysis and data-based theory. In the first step, with the help of the Hadith Encyclopedia software, keywords related to the functionalism of employee behavior were searched and coded in three stages using the Strauss and Corbin approach. From a total of 607 statements related to the functionalism of employee behavior, 647 primary concepts and 28 main categories were extracted using the theoretical and purposeful sampling method. The sense of responsibility of the manager and employees was selected as the central phenomenon about 140 times with the highest number. Employee initiative, sincerity, and sacrifice, cost savings, maintaining standards, feeling useful, and responsibility and accountability were selected as the consequences of the functionalist model of employee behavior from Imam Khamenei's perspective.
