Abstract

In today's world, educational systems are facing complex challenges that require efficient and innovative management structures. Sustainable organizational governance with the approach of organizational excellence in the country's higher education management system, as a key strategy, seeks to create and maintain structures that are able to respond to changing needs and new challenges. Therefore, the goal is to design a sustainable organizational governance model with an organizational excellence approach in the country's higher education management system.The current research was conducted with a qualitative approach and in terms of purpose, it is among applied researches and using thematic analysis method. The statistical population included professors and senior managers, as well as interviewees including 15 people who were selected by purposive sampling until reaching the theoretical saturation level. Data were collected using semi-structured interviews. To ensure validity and reliability, the findings were approved by the interviewees. In order to analyze the data, the method of Brown and Clark was carried out with Max‌Quda qualitative data analysis software.The findings of the interview analysis included 14 basic themes, 6 organizing themes and 1 overarching theme.The results showed that it includes the governance structure, collective empowerment, policy making and national supervision, competitive scientific development, anti-corruption measures, excellence of the educational system.
