Abstract

The purpose of this research is to design a model of crisis management with the approach of moral distress management in hospitals of medical sciences universities of Iran with a mixed approach. This research is applied in terms of purpose and descriptive-correlation in terms of method. The statistical sample of the qualitative part was made up of 15 university professors, experts and senior managers of the University of Medical Sciences. The required data were collected through semi-structured interviews with them and analyzed based on the foundation's data analysis technique, and finally, the relationship pattern between the research variables, whose validity and reliability were examined and confirmed by the method of two coders and retest reliability. It was presented that the statistical population of the research includes all managers and employees of Iran University of Medical Sciences. The participants in this section were estimated to be 340 and finally the same number of questionnaires were collected and analyzed. In this research, a researcher-made questionnaire was used to collect information. Also, the obtained data has been analyzed using SPSS and Smart PLS4 statistical software. The results showed that job stress has a positive and significant effect on moral distress, and moral distress, professional ethics, and the state of corona disease have a positive and significant effect on the organization's strategy; And the organization's strategy has a positive and significant effect on job burnout. It can be said that nurses will be able to face critical stress and contribute to the progress and improvement of medical services in university hospitals of the country.
